This policy explains how VAI uses cookies and similar technologies, and the choices available to you.

1. Necessary technologies

These technologies are required for security, authentication, remembering your privacy choices, and providing core VAI functionality. They’re always active and aren’t part of the optional choices below.

2. Analytics

If you choose to allow analytics, VAI records limited product-usage events to help us understand how the platform is used and improve it. We do not include the content of your Ask VAI questions or responses, your Practice conversations, patient or client information, your name, or your email address in these events. This is first-party analytics — we operate it ourselves, and it isn’t shared with any advertising or analytics company.

3. Marketing technologies

VAI does not currently use marketing or advertising technologies on the VAI platform. If we introduce them in the future, they will remain disabled unless you choose to allow them.

4. Local browser storage on vai.vet

Certain forms on our public website, vai.vet (for example on the Enterprise and Pilot pages), save what you type in your own browser so your entry isn’t lost if you navigate away. As of the date of this policy, this stays on your device and isn’t sent to any VAI server.
